In recent weeks, Homer’s Odyssey has experienced a remarkable surge in book sales worldwide, with numerous editions reaching the top of international bestseller lists. Bookstores, publishers, universities, libraries, and readers around the globe are once again turning to the timeless masterpiece of the Greek poet.
This remarkable revival makes the International Hellenic Association’s appeal to Amazon more timely and compelling than ever: the full support of the Greek language in Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP).
For years, Greek authors, scholars, and researchers have been unable to publish books in the Greek language through Amazon KDP. As a result, millions of readers searching for works on Homer, Plato, Aristotle, Ancient Greek history, philosophy, and literature cannot easily access modern Greek-language books through the world’s largest self-publishing platform.
Like every artistic production, Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey is a contemporary interpretation of Homer’s epic.
